Forever and Forever

Shining sun and the waxing and waning of the moon,
Appearing and reappearing again and again, forever and forever

Twinkling stars in the vast silent sky,
watching us all through the night, forever and forever

Changing seasons with autumn leaves and winter showers,
nature's ever refreshing sight, forever and forever

Beauty and duty of the day and the rest at night,
without any body's wish, forever and forever

Glowing snow capped mountains and silvery flowing rivers
bringing new hopes along with its path, forever and forever

Ever growing trees and various creatures in the forest,
dependent on nature's present, forever and forever

Evolution and revolution of the world,
changing the way we live, forever and forever.

Men have come and men have gone
but their works and deeds live, forever and forever.

Blessing of God on man and nature
cannot be washed, forever and forever

But, there are those intentions and deeds of man,
that make our planet either hell or heaven, forever and forever

  2. Hello Aunty :)
I was desperately waiting to read a poem from you and here you go leaving me mesmerized. Nature keeps on changing but we are still the same. Ignorant and greedy; making this heaven, a hell.
Truly beautiful! waiting to read more from you.

    Keep writing. My best wishes.

  3. Hello Farzana,

Your poem has touched the various aspects where you can deal with 'forever'. A really nice expression to the prompt.:)

  4. Hi Farzana,

Now these are thought over lines for all the natural beauty and changes we observe around us. I am so glad that they are common to all. But as your poem suggests, what we make of it is completely upto the mankind.

    Nicely woven words..into a poem!

    All the best for BAT54.

    Regards,
    Megha
